Joey Logano secured his first playoff win and 3rd win of the season. Since the playoff reconfiguration in 2014, the first winner of the round of 8 has statistically strong chances of taking home the title.

However, the biggest story of the day was Bubba Wallace taking fists to Kyle Larson in the infield grass after the #5 tapped the #45 and Wallace with an instant retaliatory right hook sent Larson into the wall on lap 95. NASCAR has yet to make an official statement on any penalty issued.

Christopher Bell DNF'd after hard contact by the #5 car of Larson on its way into the outside wall. Disappointing finish for the #20, after securing the must-win last week at the Charlotte Roval.

Kyle Busch cut from playoff contention back in Round 1 with a surprising comeback of P3 after spinning into infield turf with a flat and later suffering penalty with a runaway tire incident off of pit road.

Chase Briscoe bounced back from one lap down to an astonishing P4 finish after a couple caution restarts in the final stage.

Ryan Blaney, Stage 2 winner was looking strong but got loose into the wall with 40 laps left.

Ross Chastain was the lap leader (68) and most of which came during the final stage. He lost the number one position on the final two laps.

Chase Elliott was the points leader coming into today's race but struggled all day to find his groove and finished P21.
